Is it possible to get the required approvals from the government directly?
The short answer is No, an authorized Consultant is required for most of the approvals

What are prerequisite documents?
- Complete set of client documents as required by Statutory Authorities such as but not limited to:
- Title Deeds.
- ID copy for Authorized to sign.
- Project Documents.
- Soil Investigation Report.
- For Industrial Projects, provide all equipment details/catalogues showing the plan, section & Elevation in along with equipment Structural, electrical & Mechanical Load requirements. UDC shall design the services accordingly.
What kind of governmental approvals are needed?
Can include but not limited to:

- The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning
- Qatar Civil Defense Department “QCDD”
- Kahramaa “KM”
- Ashghal
- Ooredoo
- PEO
- Awqaf
- LPG
What is the approval process?
- The process begins first by Opening a file, then uploading preliminary architectural drawings for approval.
- Second uploading Life Safety Plans
- Third, after gaining DC1 approval, required services are uploaded for approval.
- Services can include but not limited to:

- Electrical
- Fire Alarm
- Fire fighting
- HVAC
- Plumbing
What are the stages for my Project?
- Sketch Design Stage. (Architectural)
- DC1 Authorities Approvals stage. (Initial Architectural Drawings, Fire Life Safety if required, Electrical and Water)
- Services Authorities Approvals Stage. (Potable Water, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Electrical, Data & Telephone)
- Detailed Design / IFC stage (All disciplines drawings needed for site)

Fees vary greatly based on the scope of the project and services required
